First we go around the building by bus, then visit of the inside of the impressive House of Opera with the magnificent neo renascence chambers and stair
cases.Originally known as the Hungarian Royal Opera House, it was designed by Miklós Ybl, a major figure of 19th century Hungarian architecture.
In front of the building there are two statues. Ferenc Erkel and Franz Liszt are the best known Hungarian composers. Erkel composed the Hungarian national anthem and he was the first music director of the Opera House; he was also founder of the Budapest Philharmonic Orchestra.
Each year the season lasts from September to the end of June the guests can choose from the lots of famous opera performances.
